FOREVER FRIENDS

Have been trying to keep away from square or rectangle cards and have been playing around with different die shapes to make a more interesting shaped cards. The image is one of my favorite stamps from Lilly of the Valley.

The papers are from Papermania "Portobello Road" collection and the sentiment is stamped using JustRite Cling "Forever Friends" in Color Box "Cerulean".

The die used for the flowers were Crealies Die "Creative Flowers" and the card was Spellbinders "Grand Labels  Four" and for the sentiment Ribbon Tags Trio Three.

To finish off the centre of the flowers I used Beadazzles "Jazz", ribbon and flat backed beads.
Hope you can join me again soon so take care till then.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today a card for the challenge over at Waltzigmouse.

The colours were came about from an Archival Brilliance ink pads in Peacock, Lavender and Sky Blue which are brighter than I would normally used but I had bought these little blue metallic flower embellishments which I wanted to use for this card so I think the colours all comes together quite well.

The background was stamped using Waltzingmouse stamps as well as the tag and Spellbinders Edgebilities, Rectangles and Eyelet Circles.
Hope everyone is enjoying this glorious weather and fingers crossed it stays fine for this Bank Holiday weekend.

LESS IS MORE

Hello everyone and have a card inspired by a challenge over at simply less is more - week 67 one layer - using three stamps and keeping it clean and simple. This is my first one layer card to be shown on my blog and I enjoyed doing this as sometimes I think we get carried away with lots of layers and embellishments so it is nice to go back to basics. The stamps I used were Hero Arts and two block stamps which I have from a collection of these stamps that I picked up in a sale but do not know where they are from. I have a collection of different solid shapes and are ideal for this type of project.

The other three items I used were Archival Ink "Jet Black, Versafine Ink "Toffee" and a Sakura Glaze Pen 819.

Take Care and enjoy the rest of your day

JUST A LITTLE NOTE

Hope everyone is ready to ejoy their weekend even though it looks like it will be another wet one and to think this time  last week I was sunning it in Florida.
Today's card has a bit of  a  distressed look for the polkadoodle challenge week 18 and using Marianne Design dies and
Stamp Doodles. My daughter has been 1 year in her apartment so as there is no such cards for such an occasion I thought this would suit the marking of the 1 year anniversary.
Have a good weekend and take care
