LADYBUG WITH FLOWERS

Hello again and another wet and very windy day outside so back inside for some more crafting I mean what else can a girl do on a day like this.

Today a card with one of my favourite images from tiddly inks called Spring Hugga-Bugga which is a very apt name for such a cute image. I coloured the image using promarkers and then on the wings used a glue pen and covered the wings in tiny dots covered with glitter.

For the flowers I used K&Company Designer papers Roam and  Spellbinders Jewel Flowers and Flourishes and finished off in the centres with buttons.

I will be entering this card into the challenge over at tiddly inks "Wings" and cas-ual fridays blog "Make Your Mark".
Thanks for checking in and your comments are most welcome.

BUTTERFLY KISSES

Good evening and glad to report the thaw set in and the snow we got Friday has nearly all disappeared but unfortunately this means that some places in the UK will be flooded again due to the thaw. On to my card for today and another bright and cheery colour scheme inspired by the challenge over at colour q,

You can't go wrong with butterflies and flowers and for this I used Spellbinders "Butterflies Circles" and "Jewel Flowers and Flourishes. What I love about  the circle die is the fallout butterflies you get once you die cut so with three other colours of cardstock used these to fill back in the fallout butterfly areas.

The sentiment is from Fiskars Clear Stamps "Butterfly Magic" and stamped using a Versa Color ink pad in Orange.

Enjoy the rest of what is left of you weekend and take care

SPARKLE AND BLING

Hello again and this time from a very snowy Bury where it is looking very much like a winter wonderland. The snow arrived late last night and looks really magical and that is because I do not have to travel anywhere today so a good excuse to stay indoors and look out the window while doing lots of more crafting.
Today's challenge over at one stop craft challenge is Sparkle and Bling and our sponsor for this week's challenge is the lovely "A Day for Daisies"who have the cutest digi stamps. For my card I picked this adorable digi image called"Spring Chick with the sparkle added to the flower heads with some lemon glitter glue and the bling is the jewels added to the centre of the die cut foam flowers.

I kept to very bright colours which makes this an ideal card for Easter or perhaps a cheery card for a Spring Birthday.

The following items were used:
Promarkers
Spellbinders - Grand Ovals - Grand Labels 23 - Jewel Flowers and Flourishes
Marianne Design Creatables - LRO164 - LRO156
Versa Color Ink Pad - orange
S.E.I.paper - Happy Day
glitter glue - lemon
fun foam - ribbon
If you get the chance do join us for this week's challenge and I will leave you with a picture of my back garden covered in snow where I will go now  and put out some food for the birds.

Take care

THANK TOU

Hello friends and what miserable weather we have been having and although the snow came to north Manchester we got off pretty lightly compared to parts of the country in the south.

Today another challenge at One Stop Craft Challenge with the theme thank you's and our lovely sponsor for this is
This week I got some brand new Spellbinder dies that were launched at the CHA show last week and for this card I used the Timeless Rectangles which give a beautiful and elegant design. The edges of the frame and the sentiment were highlighted using Satin Red Versafine ink. The flowers are die cut using Crealies Creative Flowers CL CF 17 and the sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse Stamps - Compact Sentiments.
Hope you all keep warm and safe during this cold weather and think about those poor people over in Australia suffering extreme HOTTTT temperatures.

Love LIZ X
